Todays market update Sensex, Nifty unstable with the nifty trend 8550 – 8600 Telecom, oil, FMCG, pharma and select private banks expanded.The Sensex up 54.85 points to 28315.93 and the Nifty rose 7.75 points to 8578.65.The broader markets down benchmarks with the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices down 0.4 percent each.
Market remained unstable with the Nifty gripping in a range of 8550-8600. Telecom, oil, FMCG, pharma and select private banks expand.
About 745 shares have gained, 1124 shares abstain, and 134 shares are constant on the BSE.
Bharti Airtel gained over 2 percent followed by NTPC and HUL with a percent gains.
Hindalco climed 1 percent and Usha Martin rise 15 percent. The government accepted bids for Brinda & Sasai coal block won by Usha Martin at Rs 1,804/tonne. It also accepted bids for Dumri coal block conqured by Hindalco at Rs 2,127/tonne.
