At end of the trading session on wednesday the market closed with a green note or Nifty ends above 7,500 since February 1.
The BSE Sensex closed at 24,793 gain up 134.73 or 0.55% and NSE Nifty gain up 46.50 closed at 7,531.80 or 0.62%.
The BSE Midcap outperformed benchmarks,rising nearly a percent aided by market breadth.
At the end of day about 1388 shares advanced against 1206 declining shares on the BSE.
Today Indian rupee opened lower by 10 paise at 67.45 per dollar by previous close at 67.35.
