Tuesday end of the day the market closed with a negative note or Sensex fall more than 250 points today.
The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 24,551.17 fell 253.11 points and NSE Nifty the 50-share fell by 78.15 points closed at 7,460.60 or 1.04%.
The broader markets also in bear as the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices slipped 0.8% and 0.6% respectively.
On Tuesday trade,shares of Lupin slumped 7 percent.The scrip fell 7.06 percent to hit a low of Rs. 1,736.50 on BSE.The stock has gained 1.3% in the past month and shares of SpiceJet also surged over 5% today.
