Today end of the Tuesday Sensex closed with a gain and Nifty closed below the level 7,500.
The 30-share BSE Sensex gain up 12.75 points closed at 24,659 and Nifty 50-share decline by 0.05 ends at 7,485.30 or fail to hold the level of 7,500 till closing day today.
Global market saw consolidation and profit taking after last week’s rally.
Shanghai bucked the trend closing in green exports fell 25.4 percent in February.
While metal stocks led the rally,banking and IT stocks proved the biggest laggards.
The BSE Midcap Index was up 0.01 percent and BSE Smallcap Index was trading 0.14 percent higher.
