On Monday end of the day the market closed with a high note or today Nifty gain above 100 points.
The 30-share BSE Sensex gain up 348 points 25,022.16 and 50-share NSE Nifty closed at 7,671.40 gain by 116 points or 1.54%.
The BSE Midcap and smallcap indices underperformed benchmarks, rising 1% and 0.6% respectively.
On Monday Shares of Tata Steel ended higher by 2.7%.The stock rose 3.35% to hit a high of Rs 33.05 in intraday trade.
China stocks ended more than one percent higher led by resources shares.
Shanghai Composite index gained 1.7% to 3,033.96 points.
Also shares of Rupa & Company surged 20% on Monday.
The stock soared 20% to hit a high of Rs 329.40 on BSE.
