On the last day week of a trading session the market slipped down in early trade after closing of last day gain and Nifty fail to hold the level of 7,900 in morning.
The BSE Sensex trading at 25,525 down by 227 and 50-share NSE Nifty is at 7,837 down by 63 points or 0.80%.
In early trade today the advanced shares are 670,declined shares are 994 and 96 shares are unchanged.
Today the domestic currency also opened lower at 66.78 per dollar slip by 16 paise against previous of 66.62 on Thursday.
The S&P BSE Midcap index was up 0.24% and BSE S&P Smallcap index was trading 0.24% higher.
In early trade Japan’s Nikkei turned lower 0.2%.
Inpex corp shed 2.9% and Japan Petroleum Exploration Co declined 3.8%.
