On last day week of a trading session the market ends with strength and Nifty hold the level of 8,150 for the day.
The BSE Sensex gain 100 points closed at 26,625 or 0.38% and NSE Nifty closed at 8,170 gain 29 points or 0.36% and the broader markets underperformed with the BSE Midcap ended with a negative bias.
In late trade the market breadth turned negative,as about 1315 shares declined against 1255 advancing shares on BSE.
Or in Asia,China’s Shanghai Composite gained 0.43% and Hong Kong Hang Seng index rose 0.66% and also Japan’s Nikkei advanced 1.07%.
On Friday shares of Max Financial Services soared 10.29% to close at Rs 472.80.
After tumbling 3.1% on Thursday,the Nikkei ended up 1.1% at 15,599.66 points.
End of the day broader Topix climbed 0.8 percent to 1,250.83 and the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 added 0.7 percent to 11,270.83.
