The BSE Realty index is outperforming the major indices in the closing hours on Tuesday. BSE Realty index is trading at 1495.09 levels, up by 21.91 points or 1.49%. The Nifty remained below 8900 level, down 17.10 points at 8879.60 ahead of GDP data due later today.
There are 918 advances, 700 declines and 292 unchanged stocks on NSE in the morning hours on Tuesday reflecting strong positive undertone in the market. The Rupee closed lower by 4 paise at 66.74 against US Dollar.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading over flat at 13552 while BSE Small-cap Index is gained 80 points at 13690. In Commodity market, Gold slipped 183 points to 29,527 Silver dropped 298 points to 43,126.
