The Indian share markets closed flat. The BSE Sensex closed lower by 33 points at 29485, whereas the NSE Nifty finished lower by 5 points at 9121. Over all 1087 shares have advanced, 1692 shares have declined and 194 shares are unchanged on NSE. The Rupee closed higher by 11 paise at 65.25 against us Dollar.
The BSE Small-cap ended flat while the BSE Mid-Cap closed down by 0.87% at 13853. In Commodity market, Gold lost 33 points to 28,472 and Silver dropped 29 points at 40,840.
Asian markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The Nikkei 225 dropped 0.34% and the Shanghai Composite rose 0.35%. The Hang Seng gained 0.37%. European markets are closed flat. The DAX is higher by 0.11%, France's CAC 40 hiked 0.43% while FTSE 100 0.16% at 7,418.98.
