On Thursday early trade the market opened with a negative note but Nifty trading above 8,150 in morning.
The 30-share BSE Sensex is at 26,661 declined by 52 points and 50-share NSE Nifty is at 8,168 down 14 points or 0.14%.
Today broader markets were lower as about 930 shares declined against 674 advancing shares on BSE.
The broader market traded in line with benchmark indices with the BSE midcap and smallcap indices gaining 0.02 and 0.05%.
Today the domestic currency opened marginally higher at 67.42 per dollar against previous close at 67.45 on Wednesday.
On Thursday early trade China stocks also fell.The blue-chip CSI300 index fell 0.3% to 3,151.86 points while the Shanghai Composite index lost 0.2% to 2,907.17 points.
The Hong Kong shares were up.The Hang Seng index added 0.1% while the Hong Kong China Enterprises Index gained 0.2%.
