The Indian Stock market opened positive . The BSE Sensex opened 75 point Up at 28,498.72 and NSE Nifty opened 21.70 point Up at 8,796.35.The BSE Mid-cap index is trading up 0.27% at 13,203 where BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.51% at 12,663.
Adani Port, Lupin, Hero Moto Corp and HDFC are among the gainers, where Coal India Reliance , L&T Bajaj Auto, M&M, GAIL are losing sheen on BSE.
INDIA VIX is trading up 0.35% at 13,3875. Out of 1,847 stock trade on the NSE, 519 declined, 930 advanced and 398 remaind unchange today.
The rupee opened higher by 13 paise at 66.85/$ against US Dollar Friday as a against the previous close of 66.95/$.
Asian market are mixed. The Hang Seng is higher by1.25% while the Shanghai Composite is leding the Nikkei 225 lower. They are down 0.84% and 0.25% respectively.
