Opening Bell: The Stock market opened with strong gains today. The Sensex is up with 235.01 points at 27764.98, it has touched a high of 27,761.37 and touched a low of 27,652.76 and Nifty is trading up 68.45 points up at 8581.95, it has touched a high of 8,587.55 and touched a low of 8,555.90. The Rupee is trading higher by 0.14 paise at 66.75 against the US Dollar.

All the sectors are trading with positive leads. BSE Small Cap is live at 13237.31 with 129.40 points hiked, BSE Mid-Cap has jumped 127.52 points at 13419.76 and Bank Nifty hiked 160.00 points to 19230.40. Currently, 1622 shares have advanced, 527 shares have declined and 127 are still unchanged. Commodity market trading in positive zone. Gold jumped up 36.00 points to 29,741.00 and Silver hiked 251.00 points to 42,122.00. 

In Asian Market, Japan's index Nikkei has gained 7.84 points at 16907.96, Hong Kong's benchmark index Hang Seng has jumped up 202.43 points at 23239.97 and China's index Shanghai Composite has hiked 15.70 points at 3056.87. In European market, FTSE lost 66.00 points to 6947.55, CAC dropped 20.69 points at 4450.23 and DAX declined 76.81 points to 10503.57.
