The market on Thursday opened on a positive note with BSE Sensex trading up 351 points or 1.29 percent above previous close, while Nifty was also in the green, Nifty gained 119 points at 8551.
About 155 shares have advanced, 234 shares have declined, and 58 shares are unchanged. Indian currency Rupee is opened higher by 0.02 paise at 66.41 against US Dollar.
Today all BSE sector trading up with positive leads. BSE Small Cap hiked 347 points at 13051, BSE Mid-Cap gained 276 points at 12998 and Nifty Midcap 100, 436 points to 15523. In commodity market, Gold jumped up 151 points at 30,028 and Silver hiked 215 points at 43,594.
In Asian market, Japan's index Nikkei jumped up 989 points at 17241, China's index Shanghai Composite trading up 35 points at 3164 and Hong Kong's index Hang Seng gained 415 points to 22830.
