On Tuesday, share market ended with strong gains. All sectoral indices close with gains of over 1 percent as FMCG, metals lead the chart. The Sensex closed up 406 points at 26213 and the Nifty jumped up 125 points at 8033. About 1121 shares advanced, 373 shares declined, and 67 shares were unchanged on BSE. The Indian Rupee Closed lower by 27 paise at 68.01 per Dollar.
In Broader market, BSE Small Cap hiked 172 points at 11721, BSE Mid-Cap gained 197 points at 1173 197 and Nifty Mid-cap 100 closed up 210 points at 13972. In Commodity market, Gold hiked 251 points at 27,288 and Silver gained 769 points at 39,282.
Asian market update: In International market Asian markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. Japan's index Nikkei gained 6 points at 19,403 while the Hang Seng and Shanghai Composite marginally closed up. They felled 0.28% and 0.25% respectively.
