On the first day of trading week the market closed with a green or a positive note.
The BSE Sensex is closed at 23,788 gain up by 79.64 points.And NSE Nifty the
50-share failed to hold the level of 7,250 closed at 7,234 gain by 23 points or 0.33%.
Broader market outperformed benchmarks with the BSE Midcap rising 0.758 percent.
The BSE Telecom index,a gauge of the telecom stocks ended higher by 0.88 percent
on Monday.
