On Friday BSE Sensex closed at 22,986 up by 34 points and NSE Nifty closed at
6,980.95 up by 4.60 points.
As three-day US holiday weekend the S&P 500 closed at high for the session.
The S&P 500 had gained 35.7 points or 1.95 percent,the Dow Jones industrial average
closed up by 313.66 points to 15,973.84 and the Nasdaq composite had added 70.68
points to 4,337.51 or 1.66 %.
