On last day of trading session the market closed with a high note or Sensex closed just closer to reached 25,000.
The BSE Sensex closed at 24,952.74 with a gain of 275.37 points or 1.12% and NSE Nifty ends with a high note at 7,604.35 gain up 91.80 points.
The broader markets also gained in last hour of trade with BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rising 0.6 percent each.
And the market breadth was positive as about 1305 shares advanced against 1281 declining shares on BSE.
The Hang Seng index rose 0.8 percent to 20,671.63 points,while the China Enterprises index gained 1.2 percent to 8,883.01.
