Today Sensex surged by 332 Pts | Nifty closed above 7,704 on Monday

Today on first day week of trading session the market gain or closed with a very high note and Nifty closed above 7,700 on Monday.

At the end of today,the 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 25,285.37 gain up 332.63 points and NSE Nifty 50-share gain 99.90 closed at 7,704.25 or 1.31%. Today the broader markets gained with BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices gaining 1.40% and 1.36% respectively. 

The BSE basic materials index gained 1.94 percent supported by Adhunik Industries and Saurashtra Cement. 

Today the domestic currency closed at 66.50 higher by 25 paise against previous closed on Friday.
