In early trade on Thursday the market opened in a red note or Nifty getting struggle for gaining 8,000.
The BSE Sensex is at 25,995 down by 68 points and 50-share NSE Nifty is at 7,968 down by 11 points or 0.10%.
Today 1051 shares are advanced,declined shares 609 and 105 shares are unchanged.
In early trade today the Indian rupee gained by 0.13 opened at 66.39.
The decision sent the dollar-yen currency pair tumbling more than 2 percent to the 109 handle.
The S&P BSE Midcap index was up 0.45% and BSE S&P Smallcap Index was trading 0.33% lower.
Japan’s equity benchmark Nikkei was trading 1.41% higher at 17,533.81 and Hong Kong Hang Seng up by 1.30%.
