On Wednesday the market closed with a positive note or Nifty ends just closer to gain 8,000.
The BSE Sensex closed at 26,064 gain by 56 points and NSE Nifty the 50-share closed at 7,979.90 gain up 17.25 points or 0.22%.
End of the day about 1274 shares are advanced,declined shares 1281 and 193 shares are unchanged.
The broader market outperformed benchmark indexes with the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indexes gaining 0.30 and 0.26% respectively.
Today the Indian Rupee opened at 66.52 per dollar gain by 0.04%.
Today shares of IDFC Bank closed lower by 5.95% after company reported a 32% sequential drop.
Reacting to the earnings,the scrip fell 6.23% to hit a low of Rs.49.65 on the BSE.
JSPL closed higher by 3.36% while that of elder brother Sajjan jindal’s JSW steel closed with mild losses of 0.26%.
