Today end of the day market slipped down and Nifty fail to hold the level of of 7,800 on Thursday.
The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 25,399 down by 304 points and 50-share NSE Nifty closed at 7,783 down by 86 points or 1.10%.
End of the day about 913 shares advanced,declined shares 1638 and 161 shares are unchanged.
The broader market fell in the line with equity benchmarks as the BSE midcap index closed 1.12% lower while smallcap index ended 1.01% down.
Asian market update:
In Asia,China’s Shanghai Composite index ended 0.02% lower while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell 0.67%.Japan’s Nikkei ended with mild gains of 0.01%.
The blue-chip CSI300 index fell 0.2% to 3,062.50.
The main TAIEX index was down 0.6% at 8,107.90 after closing up 0.2% in the previous session.
The electronics subindex sank 0.4%,while the financials subindex lost 0.5%.
