The market is surging ahead in what looks like a pre-Budget rally. The Sensex is trading up 184 points or 0.71 percent at 27905 and the Nifty is jumped up 51.70 points or 0.59 percent at 8653. About 990 shares have advanced, 445 shares have declined, and 81 shares are unchanged. The Indian Rupee opened lower by 10 paise at 68.17 per Dollar.
All BSE sector are trading with positive leads. BSE Small Cap gained 110 points at 13153 and BSE Mid-Cap hiked 141 points at 13023. In Commodity market, Gold slipped 229 points to 28,15 while Silver dropped 473 points at 40,720.
Asian Market Update: Japan's index Nikkei 225 jumped up 42 points at 19444, Hong kong's index Hang Seng lost 13 points to 23360 and China's index Shanghai Composite hiked 10 points at 3159.
