Latest Market Update | Stock Future Tips For Tomorrow

After rising as much as 202 points intraday, the Sensex settled with 103.12 points gained at 28864.71 amid consolidation. The Nifty failed to hold 8950 level, up 19.05 points at 8926.90. Both indices were at highest closing level since September 8, 2016 and continued uptrend for fifth consecutive session.

About 1751 shares declined against 1096 advancing shares on the exchange. The Rupee Closed lower by 6 paise at 66.98 against US Dollar.

However, the broader markets under performed benchmarks on negative breadth. The BSE Mid-cap and Small-cap indices felled 0.58 percent.  In Commodity market, Gold declined 26 points to 29,275 while Silver slipped 136 points to 42,700.  

Movers And Shakers Of The Day

Arcotech Limited closed at Rs 730.05 per share, up by Rs 100.85 per share or 16.03%.

CMI closed at Rs 193.10 per share, up by Rs 12.95 per share or 7.19%.
