The Indian Rupee Was trading lower by 18 paise at 66.90 against the us dollar early today on higher demand for the American currency from importers and Bank amaid a lower opening in the domestic equity market dealers attributed for the rupee fall to increased demand for the us currency.but dollar weaknees against some currency overseas restricted losses.
The rupee had higher by 12 paise at 66.73 against Us currency in yesterday trade on dollar selling by bank and exportes on the back of presistence foreign capital inflows.
Means while the benchmark BSE sensex fell 73..70 points or 0.27% to 27,701 in early deals.
The divergent trend in key benchmark indces continued in morning trade as the barometer index the S&P BSE Sensex was trading a tad higher while the nifty 50 index was trading with small losses
At the barometer index,
the S&P BSE Sensex was up 2.78 point at 27,777.66.
The nifty 50 index was currency off 9.40 at 8565 the Sensex and the nifty both hit one week low
