The Indian market is gaining strength lead by banks, capital goods and pharma stocks. The Sensex trading up 91 points or 0.34 percent at 26485 and the Nifty is jumped up 31 points or 0.38 percent at 8173. About 1522 shares have advanced, 641 shares have declined and 160 shares are unchanged on the BSE. The Indian Rupee opened marginally higher by 0.12 paise at 68.54 per Dollar.
All BSE sectors are trading with positive leads. The BSE Mid-cap is trading up 64 points at 12430, whereas BSE Small-cap gained 125 points to 12299. In commodity market, Gold declined 62 points at 28,700 and Sliver lost 83 points at 40,755.
Asian market Updates: Japan's index Nikkei declined 26 points to 18280, Hong Kong's index Hang Seng hiked 71 points at 22808 and China's index live 29 points down at 3253.
L&T, ICICI Bank, Adani Ports, Maruti and HDFC Bank are top gainers while GAIL,Tata Steel, Relaince, Coal India and NTPC are losers in the Sensex.
