About 217 shares have advanced, 1234 shares declined, and 48 shares are unchanged on BSE. The Indian rupee opened flat at 67.80 per dollar on Monday versus Friday's closing 67.82.
All BSE sectors are trading with negative zone. BSE Mid-Cap declined 162 points at 11599, BSE Small Cap lost 161 points at 11636 and Bank Nifty dropped 223 points at 17660.
Asian market, Japan's index Nikkei 225 dropped 8 points at 19419, Hong Kong's index Hang Seng slipped 61 points at 21574 and China's index Shanghai Composite trading down 24 points at 3085.
